透过真心了解，我们知道每一位残疾人士的所要所需。他们和平常人无异，拥有学习与适应能力，也能与他人开心地享受自己的人生。残疾，对他们的日常生活造成困扰，而他们需要的是更多的时间与机会，和更多我们的关怀与鼓励。
然而在生活威逼的情况下，很多家庭都无法给予残疾人士适当的照顾。友善残障福利中心就成为了他们的“第二个家”。他们相处在同一屋檐下，一起体验，一起学习，一起成长。对我们来说最珍贵的就是看见他们脸上闪亮的笑容，或是那安详熟睡的样子。
我们竭尽所能提高残疾人士的生活素质，确保他们得到关爱、平等与尊重。我们已建立一套蓝图计划，以便能够提供长期的收留服务、教育与医疗保健。当然，作为一个非盈利机构，我们需要各界人士的配合与援助。我们相信社会离不开爱与关怀，我们会继续努力向前，改善快乐天使们及其家人的生活质素，与他们共创美好的明天。

Through genuine understanding, we know what every disabled person needs and wants. They are equal to an ordinary people, having the ability to learn and adapt to the surroundings, and able to enjoy their lives with others. Congenital disease and disability is the problem for their daily lives, and they need more time and opportunity, and a lot more of our care, patience and encouragement.
However, in the case of life threats, many families are unable to give proper care to the disabled person. Disabled welfare center like YouShan has no doubt become their “second home”. We live under the same roof, we explore together, learn together, and grow together. For us, the most precious thing is when to see the shiny smile on their faces, or when they fall asleep peacefully.
We do the best we can to improve the quality of life of this social vulnerable group and ensure that they are cared for, to be equal and earning respects from the society. We have established a blueprint plan to provide long-term retention services, education and healthcare for them. Of course, as a non-profit organization, we need the cooperation and assistance from all walks of life. We believe love and caring heart exist in our society. We will continue to work hard to improve the quality of life of the “happy angels” and their families and create a better tomorrow with them together.

- 这是我们中心的每月预估开销，为40名智障孩子们的衣食住行的基本生活消费。
“由于阿发需要24小时的看顾，而我们都是打工一族，根本没有时间照顾，请人看顾的费用也很承重。来到友善阿发有很多人陪着他，一起生活，他人也比较活泼了。虽然不舍，但我们经常都过来探望他和这里的孩子们。”
“阿Yoke很快就融入这里，和这里的孩子们相处得很好，也会粘住Ms. Ten和她的社工们。阿Yoke他喜欢画画，来看他时他都会拿出来给我们看，也觉得欣慰。真心谢谢友善的付出。”
